Deploy Shield to an Organization

Description

Below are the steps to prepare for and complete the Shield deployment to a Microsoft 365 tenant.

Applies to:

Microsoft 365, Shield

Deployment Prerequisites

Deployment Preparation for Partner Organizations

If you purchased Shield through an authorized administrator or reseller, please contact them for assistance. We are not permitted to directly assist third-party resellers or customers.

Partners must deploy one of their own Microsoft 365 tenants to Shield. This partner-level Shield organization serves as both:

  • a way to keep partners informed about how to use Shield as both a Shield user and Shield Admin
  • the parent organization from which all customer organizations can be deployed and managed
