Description
Bracket is added to a Shield organization by saving Preferences on the Configure Bracket page. This action creates the Shield - Send to Bracket transport rule and connector in the Microsoft 365 tenant. By default, users are not granted access to Bracket. A Shield Admin must provide Bracket access to each user in the Organization via Add or Remove Products.
For stand-alone Bracket or CloudFilter with Bracket, please see Configuring Bracket in the Mailprotector Console.
How Bracket Works with Shield
Bracket is added to a Shield organization by saving Preferences on the Configure Bracket page. This action creates the Shield - Send to Bracket transport rule and connector in the Microsoft 365 tenant. Bracket remains unavailable for all users until it is added as a product to the users.
It is recommended that the Shield - Send to Bracket transport rule be reviewed after its creation to ensure that it is listed as priority 1, or is listed above the Shield - Send to Outpost rule to confirm that Bracket will properly trigger.
