As mentioned in Step 1 - Add the Customer and Domain, it is important to wait until after the domain is completely configured for CloudFilter before verifying the domain with a challenge record. This prevents the loss of mail before the domain allows Mailprotector to send and receive all messages.
- Go to your domain's DNS settings and add a new TXT record.
- Use this name in the Name/Host/Alias field: _mp-challenge.
Note: If the record fails to save with the '.' change it to: _mp-challenge - Copy the verification token then enter it in the Value/Answer/Destination field.
- Save your new TXT record.
- Click on Verify in the Mailprotector Console.
If successful, CloudFilter will begin filtering mail for the domain.
If verification is unsuccessful, go through steps 2 through 5 again.
If you are unable to verify the domain, please submit a ticket for assistance.
Continue Configuration
Continue to Post-provisioning steps for improving security if applicable.
