Description
If a decision is made to remove Shield from an organization, the service must be removed from the M365 tenant. Offboarding cannot be completed without Mailprotector's assistance.
How to Offboard
Do not delete Shield from the M365 enterprise apps list. The app is necessary to complete the offboarding correctly. You will be instructed when it is safe to delete the enterprise app.
Start by opening a support request with the Support team. Indicate if the organization must be set up with Mailprotector's CloudFilter product. The Support team will then provide customized instructions for next steps.
Offboarding from Shield requires the removal of M365 tenant configurations, some DNS changes, and a process that the Mailprotector Support team must run to remove the rules, connectors, ARC sealer, and other items that may be affecting the status of an email. Offboarding cannot be completed without Mailprotector's assistance.
