Description
Groups created within the Microsoft 365 tenant are added to Shield with identical settings. Shield Admins can view all groups for the organization and perform a sync with the M365 tenant to import new groups, update setting changes to existing groups, or remove deleted groups.
Viewing Groups
Shield Admins see a view-only list of the groups. Each group shows its Display Name, Email Address, and Description. Symbols represent if the group is secure, email-enabled, and public or private. Distribution Lists are also shown here, but do not display a public or private indicator. The Sync to Microsoft button will update the groups changed in the Microsoft 365 tenant. A search box is available for organizations with many groups.
