Shield Pro: Lockbox

Description

Lockbox provides an extra layer of protection for sensitive emails. Messages can only be unlocked using multi-factor authentication, so your messages are secure even if your email account is compromised.

How to Use Lockbox

1. Click on the Heads-Up Display in a message to visit the X-ray page for that message.

2. From the X-ray page click on Lockbox.

3. By default a message is Unlocked Always. You can change it to be Unlocked for 4 hours.

4. Choose to Lock the message. The X-ray message will no longer display on the screen, instead replaced by a note that the message is locked.

5. When you need to unlock the message you can either click Unlock in the placeholder message sent to your inbox (below) or return to the X-ray page via the Heads-Up Display (Step 1) and click Unlock (Step 4).

6. You must provide the Security checkpoint code sent to your authenticator device then click Verify in order to unlock the message.
