Shield Activation Prerequisites for NFR Domain: Pre-flight Checklist and Starting Shield Activation

Description

This step ensures that activation goes quickly and smoothly and that Shield works as designed in the domain's environment. If all steps are completed properly and you have waited at least 24 hours for all changes to propagate, then you are ready to deploy Shield to your first organization.

Pre-flight Checklist

Ensure that you have performed all pre-flight deployment steps before creating the new Shield organization. If you have not completed all pre-flight items and have not waited at least 24 hours for all changes to propagate, you are not ready to activate your organization in Shield.

Start Shield Activation

After completing all pre-flight checklist items, follow these steps:

1. Sign in to the Mailprotector Console with your Reseller level Manager account (Figure 1).
2. Click on the Shield tab then click on Activate Shield (Figure 2).
   

   If you do not see a Shield tab please contact Partner Success to set your reseller domain as the Not-for-Resale domain.

3. The Shield Activation screen will appear; click on Sign in with Microsoft.

You are now ready to continue to complete the 3-step Shield Deployment.
