Today, Bracket is not automatically configured through Shield. Once Shield is deployed to the M365 tenant, you must manually configure the connector and transport rule to recognize emails that should be encrypted.
The configuration is a two-step process.
- Add the user addresses that will use Bracket to the Mailprotector Console.
- The quickest method is User Sync and then remove the addresses that will not use Bracket. Please refer to Step 2 - Add Users for details.
- Configure the connector and transport rule in the M365 tenant to identify emails for encryption.
